Transitional Housing • Mentorship • Workforce Prep • Peer Support • Real Community
New Pathway Enterprise Inc. was born from lived experience, built by individuals who understand the challenges of incarceration, foster care, homelessness, and starting over. We’re not just an organization; we’re a movement focused on healing, second chances, and rewriting narratives.
We are passionate about empowering youth and changing lives, one meaningful opportunity at a time.

We’re a young organization with a powerful mission and we need champions like you to make it happen.
Whether you’re a community member, business owner, case worker, or someone who simply believes in second chances, there are many ways to contribute:
Volunteer your time or skills (mentorship, teaching, fitness, admin)
Sponsor a resident’s housing for a week or a month
Donate hygiene kits, clothing, or household supplies
Partner as an employer, trainer, or service provider
Your involvement plants the seed of change. Together, we build pathways that last.

To provide safe housing, mentorship, and holistic support to young men in transition, supporting their journey to independence through structure, compassion, and opportunity.
At New Pathway Enterprise, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to reset, rebuild, and rise. Our program supports the full person emotionally, physically, and mentally because success means more than just a roof. It means healing, purpose, and a community that believes in you.

*82% of residents maintain housing after 90 days
*100% receive ID recovery and life-skills planning support
*70% transition into jobs, training, or stable housing
100% are welcomed with dignity, structure, and belief in their potential
Every dollar, every volunteer hour, and every referral helps us move one step closer to ending cycles of instability.

We are a small but mighty nonprofit organization doing significant work, and your support makes a big difference.
As a new organization, your donation doesn't get lost; it becomes a visible impact. It pays for beds. Food. Bus passes. Work clothes. It pays for healing.

Kevin Woods founded Next Pathway Enterprise Inc. out of lived experience, love for community, and a deep understanding of the barriers young men face after incarceration or hardship. As a mentor, peer leader, and father, Kevin brings both heart and hands-on knowledge to this mission.
His goal is simple: provide what he wished had existed for him a safe space with structure, support, and people who NEVER give up.

We are honored and deeply grateful to partner with Adulting IRL, an organization built with intention, authenticity, and a powerful commitment to supporting youth who stand at the intersections of survival, identity, and healing. Adulting IRL creates real spaces for young people, Black, Brown, queer, disabled, neurodivergent, and system-impacted, to be seen, heard, and supported without needing to have everything figured out.
Their programs are culturally grounded, healing-centered, and rooted in lived experience. Through workshops and trainings like #YouGoodFam? (youth suicide intervention), #NoApologies (self-love and community care), #ISeeYou (Youth Peer Support certification), and #Amplify&Thrive (paid leadership internships), Adulting IRL equips young people with the tools to care for themselves and each other in real, meaningful ways.
What makes this partnership even more powerful is Adulting IRL’s authenticity. Their team brings both lived and professional experience into every space, transforming their own stories into purpose-driven support for the youth they serve. They don’t ask young people to earn belonging; they create a place where belonging already exists.
New Pathway Enterprise Inc. is excited to collaborate with an organization whose mission aligns so closely with our own. Adulting IRL’s compassion, cultural wisdom, and commitment to young people make them an invaluable partner as we continue building pathways of hope, healing, and opportunity for youth navigating complex systems.
We see the impact of their work, we believe in their vision, and we are proud to walk alongside them in this movement for youth empowerment and community care.

At New Pathway Enterprise Inc., we believe in building bridges that support physical, emotional, and mental well-being. That’s why we’re proud to partner with the Strong City Initiative a community-led fitness movement offering free workouts designed to uplift, unite, and empower.
“When young men step into our program, they’re not just rebuilding their lives, they’re rebuilding their confidence. That’s why our partnership with Strong City Initiative means so much. Together, we’re redefining wellness from the inside out, one rep, one step, one win at a time.”
Together, Strong City Initiative and New Pathway Enterprise Inc. are building a model of community wellness where movement is medicine, consistency creates confidence, and mentorship shows up not just in meetings, but in motion. Our collaboration puts purpose behind every workout.

We are proud to partner with Us First Oregon, an organization born at the height of the pandemic with a mission grounded in compassion, community, and direct support for individuals facing heightened hardship. What began as a housing assistance effort quickly expanded into a broader movement to meet the urgent needs of Portland’s most vulnerable populations.
Us First Oregon has played a critical role in supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and food insecurity through their mobile outreach and pop-up resource stations across North and Southeast Portland. By bringing food, supplies, and connection directly into camps and underserved communities, they ensure that support is accessible to everyone, no barriers, no prerequisites.
Beyond essential services, Us First Oregon has built a reputation for creating signature community events that bring people together across cultural lines. These gatherings foster belonging, unity, and resilience, reinforcing the belief that community is strongest when people show up for one another.
Their impact extends further through partnerships with local businesses, volunteers, and grassroots organizations, amplifying their reach and strengthening the ecosystem of care in Portland.
New Pathway Enterprise Inc. is honored to collaborate with Us First Oregon. Their commitment to community-building, direct outreach, and culturally inclusive engagement aligns deeply with our mission to support system-impacted youth and families. We are grateful for their leadership, their dedication, and the heart they bring into every space they serve.
Together, we are creating pathways of connection, stability, and hope for individuals and families who need it most.

My name is Eoj Johnson, and I am a 52-year-old man shaped by lived experience, resilience, and transformation. Although many call Portland the “City of Roses,” my upbringing reflected more of the thorns, navigating the harsh realities that Oregon presented to a young Black male. My early years contributed to the recidivism rate, and I eventually became incarcerated for an extended period. Yet this chapter became the turning point of my life.
I entered the prison system at 22 and was released at 38 (1995–2012). Spending my 20s and 30s in captivity forced me to confront myself deeply and learn what it truly meant to be free, even while still inside. I transformed incarceration into an educational environment, studying human behavior, mindsets, and the system itself, so I could one day return to society with purpose.
During those years, I connected with many young adults who reflected my own youth. I wanted to help them navigate around the system instead of being pulled deeper into it. Today, I stand in that position, committed to guiding, mentoring, and redirecting our youth toward a future they can be proud of.
At New Pathway Enterprise Inc., we are honored to have Eoj as our President. His leadership, lived experience, and dedication to breaking cycles of recidivism embody the mission of our organization. Eoj leads with wisdom, compassion, and a powerful testimony that continues to inspire youth and community partners throughout Oregon.

**Youth Mentor, Public Speaker, Entrepreneur**
Isaih Holt is a dynamic public speaker, life coach, and entrepreneur whose work is rooted in lived experience and purpose. As someone who was once system-impacted himself, Isaih embodies the message he now shares with youth and adults across Oregon: your past does not define your future.
Through powerful storytelling and transparency, Isaiah speaks openly about his personal journey, how he moved from barriers, setbacks, and justice involvement to becoming a business owner, mentor, and leader in his community. His ability to connect with youth inside correctional facilities and those navigating reentry on the outside has made him a respected voice in empowerment, accountability, and personal transformation.
Isaiah's passion extends far beyond motivational speaking. He works hands-on as a life coach and teacher, guiding young people through critical decision-making, goal setting, and building a mindset that supports long-term success. His message is consistent and unwavering: never give up on your dreams, no matter what you’ve lived through. He teaches that potential is not erased by mistakes; it is strengthened through resilience, self-belief, and intentional support.
At New Pathway Enterprise Inc., we are honored to have Isaiah as part of our team. His commitment to mentorship, entrepreneurship, and youth development is a true reflection of our mission and the work we strive to do every day. Isaiah represents possibility. He represents hope. And he represents the power of turning adversity into leadership, exactly what we want our young people to see, feel, and believe for themselves.
